Sam Allard is a staff writer at Scene. He covers local news, movies, and the "Outside" beat. He's a graduate of the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University and the NEOMFA at Cleveland State. He is, among other things, a devoted Cleveland sports fan and a budding scholar of maritime industry. Prior to joining Scene, Sam was encamped in Sarajevo, Bosnia, on an investigative reporting fellowship with the Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project.
