The revitalization of land along a Great Lake is not unprecedented. Milwaukees festival grounds hosts a different festival each weekend, wrapped in a U around Lake Michigan. Summer Fest draws 100,000 people PER DAY over 10 days. Irish Fest draws 140,000 over 2 1/2 days in August. It is easy access from multiple points, and via foot, bike or car.

The sense of community and working together to put on events of benefit to locals and to visitors would pay for the relocation and cleanup, and new events or ones being handcuffed now by lack of current options would fund improvements.

Milwaukees was built during its beer heyday. Clevelands can be built in the vision exemplified by the Metroparks, and local event organizers looking for a better setting for the whole arts and performance community, including food and music vendors, entertainment that employs, and admissions taxes.
