I agree that Simeon Soul Charger is a band to watch.
I am no "fanboi", and I have been around the music scene for several decades now. While that doesn't mean a whole bunch, it does mean that I have heard quite a few acts.
Those guys have that "something". The kids (you audience members are all "kids" to me) talk about them. They watch them on YouTube. They show up to their gigs.
The addition of "Guitar" Rick Phillips (formerly of Waterband, another band to watch in my opinion) really added a little something extra to an already outstanding band.
I wish them (and all the bands mentioned) the best in the coming year.
Since the days of Vegetable Matter (and even before, separately) John and Dave have provided funk-i-fied grooves with truthful lyrics that make people think, laugh and dance.
Waterband is indeed special.

Willy Mac Music is a force unto itself. Willy, Rick and Mike are an enjoyable mix of fun, classic acoustic tunes and just plain-out good folks. We are all Willy Mac Music.
