Re: “Adams Street

The Adams Street Bar held a very lame Halloween party. Not all of their employees were even in costume! Keep in mind this is a rare year when Halloween fell on a Saturday and the time change was to occur on the very next day. Thus, giving an extra hour to the bar to sell alcohol.

When I arrived at the bar, I was given a hassle by the bartender when I tried to purchase my first drink. I asked for a vodka and tonic and he wanted to know what vodka. I told him the cheap stuff. He pursued trying to sell me very expensive liquor. I am unemployed. The bar should be grateful that I am even there and spending money! And yet this asshole was going to give me a hard time. Most bars you walk in and ask for vodka and tonic they give you the bar brand. He was the old balding bartender in the front bar. I have worked as a bartender myself and I know they probably have the cheap vodka in the Sky vodka bottle anyway!

If you are familiar with the bar, you know they have two dance floors. One in the main Adams Street bar and then a second dance floor over in the section called Pecs. Anyway, the main dance floor did not even have a DJ! The other dance floor over in Pecs did and no one even dances on that dance floor.

They had some non-professional hosting the Costume Contest. He was terrible. He was not in costume (neither were any of the judges). The host was hard to hear and made rude, insulting comments that no one found funny. Why didn' they hire a drag queen for the party like every other Gay bar does? Just plain cheap on Adams Street part!

The bar had lots of straight, young couples in it. Most of them, looking too young to drink liquor (under 21) and yet all of them had drinks. None of them got the hassle, I did at the bar.

I left Adams Street and went to Tear-Ez where the bartenders were friendly, the crowd was mostly Gay, the music was better, and the party was way better.

Trust me, I have learned my lesson about Adams Street!

Re: “New Morning Anchor Coming to WEWS Channel 5 in June

Newsnet5 needs to get rid of the slogan... "5 on your side" Their not on my side.

In my opinion This new anchor woman Katie Ussin is very boring and depressing to watch. I prefer a news anchor in the morning who is cheerful and fun to watch and she is not anything like that.

Re: “Cleveland Meteorologist Mark Johnson is Pissed About the French Ministry's Travel Warning

France is absolutely correct! Cleveland is not safe. Mayor Jackson has a real do-nothing safety director, Martin Flask. Flask should have been fired a long time ago. You know it and I know it that Cleveland has a very high crime rate. How many murders this year so far? I lost count.

Re: “Best Gay Bar

Piano Lounge??? I don't know about that. I don't recall ever seeing a piano in Cocktails or even when it was Rockie's. They do have great karaoke twice a week on Wed & Sun.

However, I have to agree that this Gay club has evolved and is probably Cleveland's Best Gay Bar.

Re: “Pic of the Day: Josh Mandel in Drag

I like the photo and really really do not care about it. What I do care about is someone who lies.

When Josh stated that he could not remember it , it really told me a lot about his character.

How could he not remember something as significant as this photo and in his high school year book yet? This just gives us an inside on how well he will remember things if put into office. Myself, I would prefer someone who has a little bit better memory.
