Re: “"The Real Cleveland" Cares More About Restaurants and T-Shirts Than Black Lives and That Sucks

In less than four years, Cleveland went from wine and gold with love to black and white with crime. Shame on everyone. It's much tougher to build something than to tear stuff down. How many voted for Obama, are complaining about Trump, but will note vote this November?

Re: “"The Real Cleveland" Cares More About Restaurants and T-Shirts Than Black Lives and That Sucks

Scene once again sh*ts where it eats. Last year, Scene attacked Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse yet covers each and every concert held there. A primary function of Scene has always been its restaurant reviews. Now Scene basically says if one stupid cop from four states away does something wrong that it's open season on restaurants already in an existential struggle from the pandemic. Why don't you just go burn down your parents' house for raising you to complete the cycle of stupidity. Scene is not unlike a beggar who defecates on the street and then wonders why people avoid his place of business.

Re: “Cuyahoga County Ties Biggest Spike in Coronavirus Cases Since Pandemic Started to People Being Out and About

Failure on so many levels. How many people had 3 months salary in a rainy day fund before the pandemic decimated so many jobs? How many people don't understand that singing, yelling, moving air, etc. enhance transmission? How many people think that the virus gives a damn about your religion or what your politics are? Whether you're protesting Amy Acton or smashing windows because of police conduct 4 states away, you are increasing your likelihood of infection. Morons in Columbus cut the education budget for schools and are planning on blowing the rainy day fund on construction projects when everyone knows that schools are the most prevalent location for the spread of contact parasites such as lice let alone a readily transmissible virus like SARS-CoV-2. Show me a kid under 9 who can reliably socially distance themselves without constant adult supervision.

Re: “How Fear and Anger Change Our Perception of Coronavirus Risk

I love Trump's rabid wingnut supporters imagining that he's one of them. When he's done, he'll disappear behind the gates of Mar-a-Lago with his fourth wife. Why does his Education Secretary fly a foreign nation's flag on her yachts and why did he dodge Viet Nam? Think about the answers to these questions before declaring him the greatest patriot in history.

Re: “How Fear and Anger Change Our Perception of Coronavirus Risk

Remember when conservatives lost their minds to keep one person (Terry Schiavo) in a persistent vegetative state "alive" in 2004? Today's conservatives seem ready and willing to serve up hundreds of thousands of citizens to the grim reaper so they can avoid the pain from not setting aside 90 days of salary for emergencies as recommended by even the worst financial planner. Science and the virus don't care whether you're angry or afraid. Actually, standing next to someone who is not wearing a mask and angrily shouting (spraying respiratory droplets) does increase you chance of becoming infected.

Re: “Trump Team Considering Drive-In MAGA Rallies Due to Coronavirus

Trump thinks Michael Flynn is a hero? Susan McDougal did 18 months in Federal Prison in solitary for refusing to answer questions about Whitewater and has never ratted out Clinton to this day. Flynn pled guilty and agreed to cooperate with Mueller's investigation almost immediately and never did a day behind bars. Barr had to rescue Flynn before he could sing about Trump's dealings with Russia to keep himself out of jail. If Trump's taxes reveal connections to Putin, he's done. The Supreme Court is hearing that case this week,
