Love all the food at Aladdin's Eatery and I usually get the V-Nine soup, the Veggies appetizer with falafal, baba and hummus to share, and the Aladdin's Favorite combo (yes I share some) with a Fatoosh Salad with chicken to take home for later. I always thought that I hated turnips until I unknowingly ate their pickled turnips. Now I can't get enough and the kids love them too.

The article states that the owners would periodically have to go to Detroit, Chicago, etc. to buy supplies when they first opened in 1994. Why not just go over to Aladdin's Bakery which has been around since the early 1970's and I've been going there since the late 70's or early 80's. They supply other retailers and I would think Alladin's Bakery would have loved to build a working relationship and trade ideas. Good business for everyone and it helps build product and cultural awareness.
