Re: “Portland Loves Fat Head's, "The Spirit of Suburban Cleveland"

I'll pick Bridgeport or Deschutes any day over Fat Heads, but I do hope they do well out there because I think Fat Heads can brew some great stuff. I keep reading the excerpt from the WW and it's a bit condescending. Having lived in PDX and still visit from my current home in CLE, that shit is beyond annoying to me. CLE can hang with PDX.

Re: “Cedar Point Seemingly Announces Closure of Mantis Through Cryptic Video

There had been discussion of modifying it and removing the floor.... Which leads me to believe it's not going anywhere. "Take one last stand" kind of lends to that theory .

Re: “Jack White Concert Moves from Wolstein Center to Jacobs Pavilion

While I love Nautica for shows, I feel kind of screwed that I paid for good reserved seats at Wolstein and now I am getting an unassigned bleacher seat instead now. Kinda shitty.

Re: “"Cleveland" Marathon Cutting East Side, New Route Will Include Lakewood, Rocky River

If you've ever run the Cleveland Full, you would know that the best crowds are on the west side, and the east side was a total deadzone (except for some spots on MLK, really). It is tough enough to run that far, but then having no spectators, running through no man's land areas east of downtown made it an even worse experience. If they want to attract runners (local or no) year after year, they had to make the race more pleasant... and that started with sending the runners through more dense and populated areas that might actually be a little more scenic. As it stood for the last couple of years, a lot of the back half of the race was a deathmarch.

Re: “Tim Bando Moving on from Top Post at Deagan's Kitchen

Sad to see Bando go, but I am glad the menu is changing, possibly with some old favorites. The menu under Bando was good, but he kind of lost me with the mediterranean vibe that everything seemed to have.
