Uh....VTR is NOT a martini bar! It has great classic cocktails, very few of which are martinis. But if you really don't know much about cocktails, then it's safe to assume you'd just label it a martini bar......Do a little more research next time, please....
We have a double sided market here. Industry enthusiasts, mixologists, long time drinkers and such appreciate the intricities and complexity of cocktails and spirits. However, large brands market to high volume business which is primarily made up of gen x and y looking to get trashed and not develop a palate, nevertheless a passion. The emergence of " BOTTLE SERVICE" only causes these brands to bring gimmicky crap to the market. It's craft versus business, and there needs to be a balance. Making the educational side of this fun and available may be the key.
