You just didn't get it, at all- not shocking . . . The W./E.-side of the movie WAS supposed to be daring in a far-fetched, opinionated way. The Wally-side IS the entire movie- don't U see?
This film is about obsessing over celebrities & living vicariously thru the story of a legend. It makes PERFECT sense to any true die-hard-core Madonna-fanatic.
