    Ryan,

I just read your piece with a great deal of interest, since Templeton rye has become a favorite of my wife and I over the last several years. Previous to the summer of 2013, we ordered Templeton over the Internet, since it was impossible to obtain in Nebraska. In the final half of 2013, Costco began to offer the spirit in bulk. At the same time, the rumor started that Templeton had sold itself to a large distiller and the product had changed for the worse in its taste and quality. Proof of this was supposed to be the disappearance of the batch information on the label. Are you saying that Templeton has been purchasing its rye distillate from MGPI all along and the rumors of a change in ownership and downgrade in quality is just another urban myth?
