Re: “A Highway Runs Through It

I like how Scene continues to pretend that Collinwood either doesnt exist or isnt part of the East Side. North Collinwood has over 3 miles of lakefront, including Euclid Beach and Wildwood Park, which are both part of the Metroparks, and have seen significant improvements in the past few years, since the Metroparks took them over. If were going to make comparisons to edgewater, there you have it. It would be far less expensive to work on improving lake access there (e.g. by tearing down those hideous apartment towers) than this would be.

I thought the article was really funny. If you don't like it, don't read it.

Re: “Chief Wahoo Could Be Next Native American Trademark Overturned with New Petition

Indians had their land stolen from them by Europeans, and millions of them were slaughtered. You're complaining that they don't pay taxes? They should be complaining that you don't pay taxes to them.

Re: “Five to Try: Jamaican Joints Offer Island-Style Fare on the North Coast

Not Jamaican, but Callaloo Cafe on Waterloo offers some pretty good Trinidadian food.

Re: “Despite Changes in the Record-Buying Public’s Habits, the Exchange Has Continued to Thrive

I remember coming here as a kid. It was such an exciting place; every time you walked in it was like opening up a treasure chest, you didn't know what you were going to find. The prices were very fair, which meant my middle class parents might actually be willing to buy the game or CD I wanted.
