A Ballerina's Tale

When: Fri., March 4 2016
Critic Nelson George directs A Ballerina’s Tale, a documentary about Misty Copeland, the first African-American to be named principal dancer of the American Ballet Theatre. “I’m a black dance; that’s who I am,” says Copeland, who discovered ballet when she was 13. Even though she didn’t “fit the mold,” she triumphed as a dancer. The film makes its Cleveland theatrical debut tonight at 7 at the Cleveland Museum of Art. Tickets are $9. (Niesel)
