A Burlesque Benefit

Local burlesque performer Twiggy Stardust has been trying to get pregnant but since her husband had testicular cancer, she has to rely on the costly method of in vitro fertilization. She became pregnant once but miscarried and doesn't have the dough to go through the process again. As a result, local burlesque performers have banded together for Second Time's a Charm, a benefit to help her and her husband give it another go. Locals Ava Adore, Carmen M'Knoxide, Ginger Rockwood, Rubi-nesque and Tallulah Moonshine will perform and a handful of local comics and bands will be on hand as well. Tickets are $15. (Niesel)
