A Collection of Exhibitions

As students return to classes at Cleveland State University, the Galleries at CSU showcase a collection of exhibitions curated by Samantha Baskind, Professor of Art History and Editor of the Pennsylvania State University’s book series Dimyonot: Jews and the Cultural Imagination. CSU’s North Gallery hosts Archie Rand: Sixty Paintings from the Bible. The Center Gallery houses Archie Rand: The Book of Judith, and the Media Room screens the documentary Archie Rand: The Painted Shul. Meanwhile, the South Gallery features Leslie A. Golomb and Barbara Broff Goldman’s To Speak Her Heart. Stop by the gallery at 4 p.m. today for a gallery talk with Archie Rand and stay for a reception to follow from 5 to 8 p.m. All exhibitions are on view through Saturday, Oct. 8. Admission is free.
