For the 16th year in a row, the Cleveland Metropolitan School District, in partnership with Great Lakes Theater, the Human Fund, the Musical Theater Project and Playhouse Square has collaborated with Cleveland students, their teachers and professional theater artists to create the "All-City Musical" they call Memphis. The Tony Award-winning Broadway musical "bursts off the stage with explosive dancing, irresistible songs and a thrilling tale of fame and forbidden love." Inspired by actual events, the play centers on a white radio DJ out to change the world. The performance takes place tonight at 7:30 at the Ohio Theatre. Performances are scheduled through Sunday and tickets are $15. (Niesel)
