Beachland Ballroom: A Soulful NYE: Wesley Bright and the Hi-Lites headline the New Year's Eve bash at the legendary Beachland Ballroom, calling back last year's successful NYE party. DJs Alr!ght and Party Sweat will be spinning, so the music is sure to ring out all night long, guaranteeing a soulful dash into 2015. (If you haven't seen Wesley Bright's show yet, this is the best entry point we can imagine. If you've caught him before, then you know what's up.) Doors: 8 p.m. Show: 9 p.m. Tickets: $15. 15711 Waterloo Rd., 216-383-1124, beachlandballroom.com.

Grog Shop: Jammin' in the New Year: Featuring some of Northeast Ohio's best jam bands, the Grog Shop's New Year's Eve party is the best spot in town to dance and musically improvise your way into 2015. Tropidelic, Aliver Hall, Vibe & Direct, Drunken Sunday and Broken Keys fill out the bill, which looks to us like one hell of a dance party. Doors: 8 p.m. Show: 9 p.m. Tickets: $10 in advance, $15 day of show. 2785 Euclid Heights Blvd., Cleveland Heights, 216-321-5588, grogshop.gs.

House of Blues: '90s Tribute Band Heaven: Weezer's self-titled debut (the "blue album") and No Doubt's Tragic Kingdom rank among the greatest '90s rock albums. They are excellent soundtracks for the end of the year. My Name is Jonas and Don't Speak — Weezer and No Doubt tribute bands, respectively — will rock in the new year tonight at the House of Blues, taking willful care of all your '90s rock needs and wants. Doors: 8 p.m. Show: 9:30 p.m. Tickets: $20 in advance; $25 DOS. 308 Euclid Ave., 216-523-2583, houseofblues.com/cleveland.

Mahall's 20 Lanes: Twin Peaks Black Lodge Ball: Haley Morris (Pleasure Leftists, Memorabilia Productions, DJ Himiko GoGo) transforms Mahall's into a NYE magic party mecca, based on David Lynch and Mark Frost's Twin Peaks. "We invite you and your friends to join us at Mahall's and usher in the spirits of 2015!" Mahall's owners say. Doors: 8 p.m. Show: 9 p.m. Tickets: $5. 13200 Madison Ave., Lakewood, 216-521-3280, mahalls20lanes.com.

Nighttown: Jazzy NYE: Trumpet phenom and Cleveland native Dominick Farinacci lights up Cleveland's hippest jazz club with an intimate outdoor show on the club's "all-weather" patio. Seating is limited to 50, so do file a reservation ASAP. And inside, legendary singer Bobby Caldwell will lead his six-piece band into 2015. Doors: 8 p.m. Show: 9 p.m. Tickets: $40 (Farinacci), $80 (Caldwell). 12387 Cedar Rd., 216-795-0550, nighttowncleveland.com.

Great Lakes Brewing Co.: Brew Year's Eve.

What better atmosphere than Ohio City in which to celebrate the ball drop? And with what better beer than GLBC? The entire historic pub will be decorated for the occasion and GLBC's bringing in a DJ, a photo booth, and other entertainment to keep you dancing and festive until midnight and beyond. Your ticket grabs you three drinks and some food. A cash bar will be available all night. 7 p.m.-1 a.m. Tickets: $60. 2516 Market Ave., 216-771-4404, greatlakesbrewing.com.

Reddstone: 2015 New Year's Eve Party: Your all-inclusive ticket buys you a night of nonstop dancing , all-you-can-eat food, and all-you-can-drink booze. That, as they say, is a deal. The cozy Detroit-Shoreway joint tucked north of Detroit Road will bring in a host of DJs (details still incoming on those, so check their site or Facebook), and the perennial favorite — it's sold out most years — is a convenient one-stop shop for your holiday needs. Tickets; $30 ladies, $60 gentlemen. 1261 West 76th St., 216-651-6969, reddstonecleveland.com.

Bottlehouse Brewery: Brew Year's Eve: Over on the east side, another brew year's eve, this time courtesy of the Cleveland Heights haunt on Lee Road. The celebration will be topped with a special release of Pantheon IPA aged in Watershed gin barrels. Buster Screen plays at 8:30 p.m. and Root Bottle follows at 10:30. And, of course, there's a champagne toast at midnight.

Market Garden Brewery: Three-Course New Year's Eve Dinner: At the heart of Sam McNulty's empire, enjoy a three-course pre fixe dinner featuring the Market salad, your choice of entree, and a special NYE dessert. Market Garden is busy on any day, and it's sure to be booked for this Wednesday evening. Reservations are encouraged; the festivities start at 4 p.m. and run until close. The Vault at The 9: NYE: Ring in the new year at Cleveland's newest hot spot, that magical place called The 9. Pony up your benjamins for a night when you'll want to be seen or, maybe, watch a bunch of other people who want to be seen. The Vault is throwing it back to the Roaring 1920s, and you're encouraged to dress the part for their "vintage modern gala." An open bar is included in your ticket from 9 to 11 p.m., along with heavy hors d'oeuvres. Tickets: $110. 900 Euclid. Ave, vault9cle.com.

Music Box Supper Club: New Year's Eve Bash with honeyhoney & special guest Ryan Joseph Anderson: Dinner and a show. It's really all anyone can ask for, especially on this special night. The newest concert club in Cleveland brings a bash to the Flats. Running from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m, there will be much more than music: photo booths, a prize for the most dashing costume, a post-concert DJ set, and a bevy of additional options depending on what sort of ticket you buy. Tickets: $30 general admission in advance, $35 at the door; $40 reserved seating; $60 reserved seating with food and bev upgrade. 1148 Main Ave., 216-242-1250, musicboxcle.com.
