A Presidential Tribute

When: Mon., Feb. 16 2015
The Friends of the Maltz Museum (a dedicated group of Museum volunteers) have planned a free day filled with activities and “presidential appearances” as part of the museum’s President’s Day Tribute. Hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. From 1 to 2:30 p.m., you can participate in “Meet the Presidents” presentations that allow you take selfies with volunteers dressed as past presidents. Star-spangled kosher treats will be served as well. “Every year the Friends of the Maltz Museum sponsors this event and puts on performances to illustrate the important relationship that exists between our country, its leaders and the Jewish community,” says the group’s president, Jeff Kaplan, in a press release. He’ll portray Theodore Roosevelt, the 26th President of the United States. It’s free. (Niesel)
