Urban vineyard leader Mansfield Frazier discusses how inner-city agriculture can offer opportunities and guidance for at-risk youth, veterans and the formerly incarcerated, while also contributing to safer and greener neighborhoods. The entrepreneur and community activist will share his experiences running The Vineyards and BioCellar of Château Hough (located at East 66th Street and Hough Avenue in Cleveland), which grows wine grapes and experiments with one of the world’s first underground greenhouses. The free event is presented by the Baker-Nord Center for the Humanities on Wednesday, Nov.18 at 4:30 p.m. in Clark Hall, room 206. Registration is recommended at case.edu/ humanities.
