Cirque Dreams: Jungle Fantasy is about as mind-blowing as a hit of acid. Set in a lush tropical "dreamscape," the show dazzles with acrobats and aerialists under ultraviolet lights. The storyline is just as giddy: A ladybug and the soul of a tree narrate the tale of an emu hatching from an egg. After it's born, the bird wanders into a jungle of vine-swinging trapeze artists and spine-bending contortionists. Going into it buzzed only adds to the thrill. Take a hit at 7:30 tonight at E.J. Thomas Hall, 198 Hill Street in Akron. Tickets are $30 to $52.50. Call 330-972-7570 or visit www.ejthomashall.com.
