All About the Brain

When: Tue., Aug. 27, 7:30 p.m. 2013
Price: Free
Once a month, the Happy Dog presents a program called "Life, the Universe and Hot Dogs." It's a great way to enjoy the Happy Dog's amenities (craft beer, hot dogs with a variety of toppings) while listening to esoteric lectures about science and stuff. Tonight, Dr. Joseph Charles LaManna, the Jeannette M. and Joseph S. Silber Professor for the Study of Brain Sciences and professor in the departments of Physiology/Biophysics, Neurology, and Neuroscience at Case Western Reserve University, will talk about his cerebrovascular research. The guy has written or co-written over 200 research papers so he knows what he's talking about. The event starts at 7:30 p.m. and admission is free. (Niesel)
