When: Wed., Feb. 12 2014
To celebrate Black History Month, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum will present Jammin’, Jazzin’ & Jivin’: Jazz on Film, a new exhibit that commences tonight with a screening of the 1940 musical Cabin in the Sky. Louis Armstrong and Duke Ellington even show up to play a few tunes. The exhibit also features 27 posters that span nearly 70 years of jazz-related cinema. Tonight’s screening takes place at 7. It’s free with a reservation made through the Rock Hall’s website or by calling the Rock Hall. (Niesel)
