49th Street Tavern in Newburgh Heights is offering three different offerings for Taco Week. Their steak tacos feature a soft shell, marinated steak, lettuce, tomato, onion, tomato salsa and sour cream, their chicken tacos come with a soft shell, cilantro, lime, tomato salsa and sour cream. Their shrimp tacos come with a creamy taco slaw in a soft shell.

Academy Tavern on Larchmere

12800 Larchmere Blvd., Cleveland

The Academy Tavern is offering three taco iterations for Taco Week. The Academy Taco comes with ground beef, lettuce and cheddar cheese, the buffalo chicken comes with grilled chicken, sauteed onions, green peppers and house made jalapeño cheese sauce and the steak taco comes with steak, cotija cheese, red onion and horseradish crema. Vegetarian option available.

Agave and Rye

1352 W. 6th St., Cleveland

Agave and Rye is serving 3 tacos for Taco Week. The Gangsta is bursting with flavor and attitude! Mexican rice is the perfect base for our signature birria and elote, with white cheddar and queso for a cheesy kick. They top it off with serrano chipotle créme, cilantro, and a tajin lime for a flavorful finish with a hint of spice. The Mother from Another packs a unique and unforgettable flavor punch! Mexican rice is the base for chipotle roasted corn, queso and crispy black beans, with spicy carrots providing a defining finish. The Misfit will take your taste buds on an adventure! Mac n’ cheese beignets, crispy chicken and crumbled sweet & spicy bacon make up the base, while habanero maple syrup and chopped strawberry chutney provide a sweet and spicy kick. Añejo Tequila Joint has three offerings for Taco Week. Their Anejo Taco Bowl Supreme comes with either ground beef ($10), cajun chicken ($11) or shrimp ($13) and comes with jalapeño, black olives, onions, pico de gallo, and chipotle chili aioli sauce. Their Anejo nacho cheese taco comes with a deep fried taco shell with your choice of protein (beef for $10, chicken for $11 or shrimp for $12). Comes with pico de gallo, nacho cheese, lettuce and shredded cheese and topped with chipotle aioli. Their Anejo veggie taco comes with Impossible meat, pico de gallo, lettuce, cheese and corn. Vegetarian and vegan option available.

Balance Pan-Asian Grille

Downtown, Balance Pan-Asian Grille is offering their Korean BBQ taco for Taco Week with classic bulgogi flavors paired with our kimchi pickles for acidity, red cabbage for color and texture and scallions to tie in all the flavors. The sauce is savory with hints of sesame oil, soy sauce and sugar. Their Bang Bang taco is with grilled chicken smothered in our spicy bangbang sauce and a cool yogurt sauce. Garnished with red onion, cilantro and crunchy noodles. Their Tikka taco is an iconic Indian dish in a hand-held form! Served with chicken dressed in house-made Budda sauce, garnished with red onions, tomatoes, spiced chickpeas, and micro cilantro. Vegetarian, gluten free and vegan option available.

In Willoughby, Ballantine is offering two tacos for Taco Week. Their carnitas taco comes with braised pork, jicama and carrot slaw. Their tofu asada taco comes with grilled tofu, jicama and carrot slaw.

Bar 32 is offering their chimichurri steak tacos with two flour tortillas with pickled shallots, cilantro and sriracha aioli.

Multiple Locations

At multiple locations across town (Tremont, Lakewood, Downtown, Kent, Strongsville, Willoughby and Cleveland Heights) Barrio is offering three unique tacos. The El Jefe Loco comes with a stoner shell (flour soft, corn hard, chorizo and queso), spice-rubbed chicken, queso fresco, Western Reserve smoked cheddar, pico de gallo, corn salsa, chipotle honey barbeque sauce and salsa roja. The El Gringo comes on a flour shell with chili-spiced ground sirloin, Western Reserve smoked cheddar, lettuce, pico de gallo and chipotle crema. The El Vegano comes with their lean goddess shell (corn soft, corn hard and guac), pan-seared portobellos, caramelized onions, poblanos, pico de gallo, corn salsa and salsa verde. Vegetarian, gluten free and vegan option available.

Beerhead Bar and Eatery

In the Flats, Beerhead is offering their pulled beef baja taco with tender pulled beef, pickled jalapeno, pico de gallo, smoked gouda, with Beerhead "Baja Sauce" and their roasted street corn chorizo taco with poblano peppers, chorizo, pickled red onion, cotija cheese, topped with smokey garlic-lime crema.
