Amy Grant

When: Fri., June 28, 8 p.m. 2013
Price: $25-$41.50
Although it’s not Sunday, Amy Grant will bring her moving Christian-pop music to Cleveland tonight. Grant’s new album, How Mercy Looks From Here, continues her cross genre style of pop music with a religious message but this time she brings with her a host of other award-winning artists including Vince Gill, James Taylor and Carole King. Grants voice is as beautifully genuine as ever and the added voices of Sheryl Crow and Eric Paslay on “Deep As It Is Wide” makes for a beautifully constructed, although most of the album is simply boring and fails to capture a lot of attention despite great voicing throughout. Grant is still the most successful and popular Christian-pop artist ever and she continues to prove that with this 2013 release, which will likely win her another award for the genre.
