An Unlikely Bachelor

When: Fri., Jan. 10 2014
Michael Perlman directs the Cleveland Play House's production of Yentl, the comedy about a young woman who dresses as a man in order to follow her dream of studying the Talmud. Not only does she become an excellent student, she inadvertently gains unwanted attention as the town’s most desirable bachelor. Yikes! CPH describes the romance that ensures as “startlingly modern.” The play opens tonight at 7:30 at the Allen Theatre. Performances continue until Feb. 2, and tickets start at $15. (Liz Trenholme)
