Art Bites Series

Mary Urbas’ ongoing Business of Art for Artists lecture series continues this week as part of the Artists Archives of the Western Reserve’s 2017 Art Bites series of professional practices for artists. Week 2 of Urbas’ series focuses on creating professional images, assembling business tools to sell art (such as business cards and mailing lists), where to show your work, what jurors are looking for at art fairs and festivals, as well as artists’ booth layout and design at these events. Although the program is free, registration is required. Weeks 3 and 4 are already sold out, and week 5 of this program won’t take place until October so don’t miss your last chance to learn more about professional art practices this spring, from 6 to 8 tonight. To register, contact the AAWR offices at 216-721-9020 or RSVP through Eventbrite. (Josh Usmani)
