Art on a Budget

When: Fri., Aug. 2, 7:30-10 p.m. 2013
Price: Free
The 50/50 Art Show has been going strong for over 10 years and it serves as a great introduction to some of the artists working in Northeast Ohio. This year, some 50 artists have contributed pieces that will be sold for a mere 50 bucks. Some of the more unique items include R!ch Cihlar's birdhouse made out of old skateboards and Christina Sadowski's photo of downtown Cleveland that has been printed on brushed aluminum and mounted on gatorfoam. The show starts at 7 p.m. at smARTspace, a gallery located in the 78th St. Studios. Admission is free. (Jeff Niesel)
