Artist Talk: Eva Kwong

free and open to the public
Eva Kwong will discuss the ongoing group of work from her Emergent Bacteria series that was designed on the computer with Rhino and 3-D printed to generate original forms. This artwork is currently on display at the McDonough Museum of Art. Eva Kwong was born in Hong Kong and moved to New York as a teenager. She received her BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design and her MFA from Tyler School of Art. Her lifelong interest in the intersection of the art and science of the natural world provides the conceptual framework and visual vocabulary for her artwork.
