Award-winning and best-selling novelist, journalist and essayist Thrity Umrigar will headline MPL's National Library Week celebration.
Her newest story and first picture book, When I Carried You in my Belly, is a mother’s song to her daughter. With humor and sweetness, the mother explains to the daughter how her laugh, love of music, and kind disposition go back to when she carried her child inside of her. It will be available for sale and signing after Umrigar’s talk.
The program is free and open to everyone. Register at www.mentorpl.org or by calling (440) 255-8811 ext. 216.
