Avon Heritage Duck Tape Festival

The 16th annual Duck Tape Festival returns today to Veterans Memorial Park in Avon for three days of beer, music, food and, of course, Duck Tape. The fest celebrates the home of the original duct tape brand, Duck Tape. The fun kicks off today from 4 to 10 p.m. with an all-new Family Night that'll include a car show and musical entertainment. Tomorrow, the festival continues from 4 to 10 p.m. when there will be more live music and a silent disco. On Saturday, the parade starts at 10 a.m. at Avon High School; the festival wraps up with a fireworks show after dusk. The full schedule is on the website. (Niesel)
