Back-to-back Brahms

Brahms’s two piano concertos are generally considered to be piano masterpieces. Tonight at 7:30 and tomorrow night at 8 at Severance Hall, the Cleveland Orchestra plays No. 2 and Saturday night at 8 and Sunday afternoon at 3, it plays No. 1. Yefim Bronfman, “one of the most gifted and talented pianists playing today,” joins Franz Welser-Möst and the Orchestra. Arrive an hour early for
 "Johannes Brahms and His Piano Concertos,” a pre-concert talk with guest speaker David J. Rothenberg,
 associate professor of musicology at
 Case Western Reserve University
