Beatlemania Revisited

When: Fri., Feb. 20 2015
Last year, the inaugural Kent Beatlefest celebrated the 50th anniversary of Beatlemania. On Feb. 7, 1964, the Beatles came to the States and became an overnight sensation. Their appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show broke all kinds of records and just about everyone in the country instantly knew the names of the Fab Four. Today, downtown Kent pays tribute to the Beatles with Kent BeatleFest. Some 16 venues are participating and will play host to bands that play Beatles and British Invasion music. All shows are free.
