In his Letter from a Birmingham Jail, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. stated, "The purpose of our direct-action program is to create a situation so crisis-packed that it will inevitably open the door to negotiation." Dr. King effectively harnessed the power of a community sharing common values to come together to create social change. Join CPH, as we welcome Cleveland area community organizers and develop the skills needed to bring positive change within our own city. May we pick up the baton.
