Best Bakery/Pastries

Coquette Patisserie

Anybody with a taste for travel knows that Coquette Patisserie is the creme de la creme of Cleveland bakeries. At this sweet little French cafe in University Circle, rainbows of macarons and French-inspired pastries come to life in artistic grandeur. Cointreau-soaked Genoise cake, lemon curd-filled eclairs, and ginger-apricot goat cheesecakes are but a few of the small wonders that await customers in the display coolers. Decadent desserts are the main attraction, but this versatile little Uptown nook also excels at savory bites like cheese platters, fresh-shucked oysters and quiche. All of it gets washed down with pints of craft draft beer, hand-crafted cocktails and a fabulous selection of French bubblies.
