Best Grocery Store

Heinen's

boc17_stamp_logo_winners.jpg

The downtown outpost of local grocer Heinen's is situated in one of the most dramatic structures in town, but that isn't the only reason to visit. What keeps us shopping there is the honest-to-goodness quality of the products, the customer service, and those amazing self-serve wine stations. Browse the aisles and you'll find stellar meat, produce, dairy and store-brand products that we'd stack up against any big-name brand in the bunch. It's one of the only groceries in town where you can find real Parmesan cheese from Parma (Italy, that is) and a whole host of Cleveland-born products that range from Old City Soda and Cleveland Kraut to Great Lakes Beer and Amish-grown veggies. At a time when it's hard to trust mega food producers and suppliers, Heinen's is a reliable and trustworthy friend.
