Best Guy to Ask About Spider-Man

Mike Burkey

So you left Spider-Man 2 with some unanswered questions. Why did Spider-Man lose his powers and then get them back? How come the Green Goblin made an appearance, when he died in the first movie? And what's the best comic for your kid, who left the movie wanting more? The man with the answers is Mike Burkey of Ravenna, otherwise known as the Amazing Spider-Fan. Burkey boasts what may be the world's biggest collection of Spider-Man memorabilia, including the original art for the seminal "Death of Gwen Stacy" issue. He's also on a first-name basis with John Romita, one of the early artists who popularized everyone's favorite neighborhood webslinger. Aficionados can purchase comic art at Burkey's website.
