Best Place to Watch the Indians

Now that the Columbus Road liftbridge is finally completed — it's a beautiful green mean machine — you can't do much better than Hoopple's to watch the Tribe. It is close enough to hear the fireworks, but far enough to avoid the downtown traffic. Waiting at the bottom of the Columbus Road hill, between Ohio City and the Flats, it's got the perfect combination of blue-collar salts, yuppies and hipsters to appeal to everybody. Plus, from the patio, you can enjoy beautiful views of the Cuyahoga even if the Indians are blowing it.

1930 Columbus Rd., 216-575-0483, hoopples.com.
