Best Theater in Which to Experience Yesterday's Treasures 

Ohio Light Opera

We who worship theater tend to regard the Canadians with envy for their Shaw and Stratford festivals, forgetting that right here in our own backyard, merrily chirping away, is the Ohio Light Opera. Located in the College of Wooster, it is the only festival in America dedicated to presenting operetta, particularly works by Gilbert and Sullivan. Under the capable leadership of new Artistic Director Steven Daigle, this company miraculously turns out seven sparkling productions in a summer.
