Big Box is Back

When: Thu., March 6 2014
Cleveland Public Theatre's Big Box series consistently breaks new ground. Spawning new works of theater, dance, music and other works impossible to pigeonhole, this collection of live theatre is always an exciting, unique experience. Offering artists a place to have their pieces become a reality, CPT brings artist and audience together for a collective learning and entertaining experience. Tonight's show features two plays. In Illuminated Lizard a woman, faced with a cancer diagnosis, dives into the world of religion and spiritualism until a lizard shows her the way. And Sisters, written by CPT's playwright fellow Juliette Regnier, reimagines the Macbeth witches prior to meeting eponymous antihero. The show starts tonight at 7 and runs through Saturday. The Big Box series runs until March 22 with a new play each week hosted at CPT's James Levin Theatre. Tickets are $12 to $18. (Patrick Stoops)
