Big Night at Michaelangelo's

From the passed hors d'oeuvres to the suckling pig, it's a big menu for a big night tonight at Michaelangelo's. Based on the 1996 flick of the same name, tonight's Big Night celebration re-creates the movie's luscious fare, including timpano: pasta "pie" with meatballs, cheese, and a hardboiled egg. Also on the eight-course lineup from executive chef Michael Annandono's kitchen: minestrone, risotto, roasted Cornish game hen, baked Alaskan halibut, and tiramisu. The critically acclaimed film, which tells the 1950s tale of two brothers who try to save their failing restaurant with a final blow-out dinner (and a possible appearance by Louis Prima), will be showing throughout the evening.
