As Black Americans were chanting "Black Lives Matter" in Minneapolis to protest George Floyd's death, Iyanna Dior, a young trans teenager, was brutally attacked by a mob of Black men and women only a few blocks away. In this film that shows as part of the Pride Film Series at the Capitol Theatre, documentarian Micheal Rice explores the homophobia that characterizes many Black spaces. The film screens at 4 p.m., there will be a Q&A with co-director Zvi Landsman via Zoom and live audience discussion hosted by Ken Schneck, editor of The Buckeye Flame.
