Black At Play: A Benefit Concert for the Tamir Rice Foundation

Shortly after Cleveland police shot and killed her son, Samaria Rice launched the Tamir Rice Afrocentric Cultural Center as "an enriching space to keep children safe from unjust harm." To mark the fifth anniversary of Rice's death, Mahall's 20 Lanes in Lakewood will host Black at Play, a benefit for the Tamir Foundation at 7 tonight. There will be live performances by Feed the People and Chick the Flyest and poetry by Ephraim Nehemiah and Breshea Anglen. ALOOF Recs artists 2SSAINT and Case Bargé will host the benefit.
