Bowled Over by Poets Sara Holbrook and John Burroughs

Featured reading followed by an open mic . Sara Holbrook is the author of three books of poetry. Her first novel, 'The Enemy, Detroit 1954,' was released in 2017 and won the Jane Addams Peace Prize in 2018. She is a frequent speaker at state, national, and international conferences and has written opposing standardized testing in the Washington Post, Huffington Post, & Forbes. John Burroughs was recently named the 2019-2021 Beat Poet Laureate for the state of Ohio. His latest book - Rattle and Numb: Selected Poems, 1992-2019 - was published by Venetian Spider Press.
