Brothers in Arms Staff Pick

When: Tue., March 4 2014
Starting today, Cleveland Cinemas celebrates the highly stylized oeuvre of director Wes Anderson with a series featuring his films. Check out Anderson’s 1996 feature-length debut Bottle Rocket, starring both Owen and Luke Wilson (Anderson standbys) as friends elaborately orchestrating a simple robbery and then trying to make a getaway. For cinephiles, it’s a treat to see Anderson developing the ticks and trademarks that would later define him. The series, in part, is in anticipation of Anderson’s The Grand Budapest Hotel, opening next month. The film shows tonight at 7:30 at the Cedar Lee Theatre. Tickets are $5 and a stub will earn you a free popcorn if you go see Grand Budapest at Cleveland Cinemas next month. (Allard)
