Buster Keaton's Two-Reel Comedies, Program 2

When: Thu., June 6, 5:45 p.m. 2013
Price: $9
If last week’s venture into the early work of 1920s film star and producer Buster Keaton wasn’t enough for you, the Cleveland Institute of Art Cinematheque has four more two-reel comedies for silent film buffs. Tonight’s screenings include Neighbors, The Haunted House, Hard Luck and The Goat. The last of these, which revolves around Keaton being mistaken for a convict (Dead Shot Dan), is worth the price of admission alone, if only to transport you back to a time period in film history when having a main villain named “Dead Shot Dan,” was totally plausible.
