Cellist Saeunn Thorsteinsdottir

Enjoy the musical stylings of acclaimed Icelandic cellist Saeunn Thorsteinsdottir as she debuts a new composition, written by award-winning local composer, Jeffrey Mumford. She will also feature adaptions of compositions by J.S. Bach and Benjamin Britten. Annie Fullard of the Cavani String Quartet will also make an appearance to perform a duet with Thorsteinsdottir. Attendees will also get the chance to experience MOCA's new Fall/Winter exhibition, which features exclusive sculpture work and new contemporary Cuban art. The evening's events begin at 6:30 p.m. Members of MOCA will receive free admission, while admission is $5 for non-members. For more information, please see MOCA's website, as listed above.
