When the Mr. Cleveland Leather Contest Weekend wraps up Sunday, last year's winner will relinquish his title to a new champ. The competitors know the drill: Pose in leather, flex some muscle, and wait for a panel of Cleveland's leading leathermen to hang the first-place medal around the victor's neck. Till then, there are loads of festivities — starting at 6 tonight with cocktails at Days Inn (12019 Lake Avenue in Lakewood, 216-226-4800). Then it's on to Twist (11633 Clifton Boulevard, 216-221-2333) and to the Shed & Crossover (2901 Detroit Avenue, 216-344-9229) for more drinking and leather-studded fun. Tomorrow, the pre-contest partying continues with a 6:30 p.m. dinner at the Tick Tock (11526 Clifton Boulevard; 216-631-6111), before the 11 p.m. competition at Twist. There, one lucky contestant will snag a spot at the Mr. International Leather Contest in Chicago on Memorial Day weekend. Things wind down with one final blow-out on Sunday, with a farewell brunch at noon at Cocktails Cleveland (9208 Detroit Avenue; 216-961-3115). For more information, including admission fees, call 216-344-9229.
Fri., Feb. 24, 6 p.m.; Sat., Feb. 25, 6:30 p.m.; Sun., Feb. 26, noon
