Chevelle/Black Map/RavenEye

Longtime metal band Chevelle continues its five-month long tour with support from Black Map and Raveneye. Still touring in support of last year’s The North Corridor, Chevelle brings its unique style to the stage. Three brothers — singer-guitarist Pete Loeffler, drummer Sam Loeffler and bassist Joe Loeffler – first started Chevelle back in 1995. Their second album, Wonder What’s Next, helped put the band on the map. “Send the Pain Below,” a The North Corridor highlight, features a build-up chords until the riffs hit and the main chorus takes over. The North Corridor shows some real maturity as the band blends the nu-metal that helped the band get its start with heavy-hitting metal riffs from the bass and more screamo vocals than before.
