Christmas Jeer

When: Thu., Dec. 5 2013
Trailer Park Boys, Canada's No. 1 trailer-trash export, comes to Playhouse Square tonight in a special Christmas show. The popular Canadian TV show, a largely improvised comedic mockumentary about the three characters selling drugs and acting like idiots in a trailer park, has spun off several stage shows and three films. In tonight's show, Dear Santa Claus, the Boys — Ricky, Bubbles and Julian — try to find the real meaning of the season but prove themselves incapable of the smallest task. Diehard fans of the show will appreciate the fact that this live performance includes a special appearance by the park's own Mr. Lahey and his "special companion" Randy. The show starts at 8:30 at the Palace Theatre, and tickets range from $26 to $51. (Patrick Stoops)
