A historical city that was settled way back in the 9th century, Portugal's Guimaraes was named the European Capital of Culture in 2012. To honor that distinction, four European directors made short films about the place. Pedro Costa, Victor Erice, Aki Kaurismaki and Manoel de Oliveira all contributed segments to Centro Historica. The film makes its Cleveland debut tonight at 6:45 and shows again at 8 on Sunday at the Cleveland Institute of Art Cinematheque. Tickets are $9. (Jeff Niesel)
