This annual fireworks event takes place at dusk today where Lake Erie meets the Cuyahoga River in the Flats. Conveniently, you can fuel up with dinner and drinks before the show at Beer Head Bar, Coastal Taco, Dante’s Inferno or Thirsty Dog and find the perfect shore perch. Keep in mind, however, that Clevelanders are not limited to just the East Bank for first rate viewing; downtown rooftops make for breathtaking views as well. Greenhouse Tavern on East 4th or Azure Longue at The 9 are perfect for those looking to grab a nice cold drink and enjoy an appetizer during the show. If a quiet spot away from the crowd is your fancy, opt to set up shop at the corner of Detroit and 32nd St, where both the Lakewood display (at approximately 9:45 p.m.) and the Downtown display can be caught.
